Spicy Beef Steak Buckwheat Salad

This recipe is from Ken Lindstein of Kelowna, British Columbia, a winner of the Family Favourite Recipe Contest held in celebration of the 50th year of Canada Beef. Ken created this salad that highlights Canadian beef, with an inspiration from tabbouleh and a nod to Thai flavours, and he wanted to use buckwheat, a favourite of his Ukranian wife talk about a world of fusion! Ken has been making it for 20 years and he and his family love the heartiness of beef, the zingy spice and the nutty flavour of buckwheat in this colourful combination.
