Cocktail Hour Grilled Beef Burgers

A burger inspired by a Canadian-favourite cocktail? This one is sure to make summer barbecues even more fun and delicious! Using pre-made Ground Beef Patties is quick and convenient, leaving you more time to enjoy the fun.

Here are the following ingredients:

  • 1 lb (500 g) Lean Ground Beef Patties
  • 4 hamburger buns, split
  • 4 EACH cornichon pickles and pickled cocktail onions
  • ½ cup (125 mL) Sriracha mayonnaise
  • 4 large cherry tomatoes, sliced
  • Caesar rimmer seasoning or celery salt
  • Hot pepper sauce

Follow these cooking methods/directions:

  1. Grill patties on a lightly oiled grill over medium-high heat in a closed barbecue for 10 to 14 minutes for ¾-inch (2 cm) thick patties, turning twice or more, or until digital instant-read thermometer inserted sideways into centre of each patty reads 160°F (71°C).

  2. Meanwhile, toast hamburger buns. Thread 1 pickle and 1 cocktail onion onto each of 4 toothpicks.

  3. Place each patty on a toasted bun. Spread each with Sriracha mayo and top with tomato slices. Sprinkle with Caesar seasoning and hot pepper sauce to taste. Sandwich with bun tops and push garnish toothpick into top of each burger.
